Project completed for Roxy Lanes at the Light in Leeds city centre. Tru-Fix were asked to fire protect the new Roxy Lanes.
Compartmentalise the area from the rest of the Light centre with a 2-hour fire rated MF ceiling system.
Tru-Fix initially started firstly with shot blasting the existing steel support to remove any rust. Tru – Fix, cleaned off the steel and then sprayed the steel with a fire retardant paint followed by a top coat of paint finish. Tru-Fix Interiors, then fitted 120 minutes fire rated MF ceilings between the newly painted steels.
Fire stopping is essential for a project like this to ensure the safety of everyone using the Light centre and Roxy Lanes in the event of a fire
